Inclusive practises of Omnia | GIVE Training piloting in Finland 5-8 March 2024

Omnia, the Joint Authority of Education in the Espoo Region, Finland is organising the training piloting for European and Finnish education experts. The purpose of the training is to pilot the content and the methods of different inclusive practises of Omnia that are part of the GIVE project and to get feedback from the participants for further development and fine tuning of the training courses.

During the training, the participants will learn about three different inclusive methods:

  1. Identifying and recognizing competencies in a non-formal environment by Youth Workshops
  2. Facilitating employment of immigrants through workplace language support by Omnia Skills Centre for Immigrants
  3. Workplace instructor training by the Work Life Coordinators and Business Cooperation of Omnia

The participants for the training come from project partner countries of Italy, Malta and Spain in addition to Finnish project partners of HAMK – Häme University of Applied Sciences and Omnia. The training is also open and has been promoted to other Finnish professionals and students interested in inclusion.

Conclusions and summary of the training piloting will be written and published on the GIVE website.
